Mauricio Pochettino has been handed an important boost ahead of the meeting with Hudderfield Town at Wembley stadium this weekend.
Tottenham were in action on Wednesday night, as the welcome League one side Rochdale to Wembley in a replay of the FA Cup round of 16 tie.
And despite going into the break level at 1-1, a fluid attacking display after the break saw Spurs brush aside their opponents 6-1 to secure a place in the quarter-finals of the competition.
Next up on the schedule for Pochettino and his men is a clash with Huddersifled Town at home and to the delight of the Tottenham manager, key star Jan Vertoghen is set to make a return.
The club has confirmed on its official social media account that the Belgium international has made his way back into training with the first team.
The news of Vertoghen’s return is definitely an important one with a crucial second leg against Juventus coming up next week.
