Christian Eriksen reveals one negative about new Tottenham ground

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen has given his reaction after his first game at the club’s new stadium in midweek as Spurs played against Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

The Denmark star has not necessarily enjoyed his football this season, with some rumours at certain times linking him with a potential departure in the summer.

But with all that said though, Eriksen has remained a decisive figure in the Tottenham attack going into the final stretch of the season as Mauricio Pochettino’s side continues to challenge for a top four finish.

The midfielder was very vital for Spurs on Wednesday night as he scored in the 2-0 win over Crystal Palace.

After the final whistle, Eriksen spoke on playing at the club’s new ground for the first time. The playmaker revealed one negative of playing at the new stadium was the high noise factor, which meant he and his  teammates had to scream at each other to communicate.

“It was very different because we needed to shout to each other but that’s what it’s like in a big stadium, so we’ll have to get used to that.” the midfielder said, as quoted by Football.London

“But it helps that everyone is with us, in our stadium supporting us – it’s a big push.”
