Tottenham Hotspur legend Graham Roberts delivered his verdict on social media after watching Spurs suffer their first ever defeat at the new stadium on Saturday against West Ham.
Mauricio Pochettino could have been forgiven for thinking his side had third place in the Premier League table almost wrapped up after the late win against Brighton on Tuesday evening.
The manner in which the win was secured against Brighton was not exactly convincing but what was most important was the fact that the team had secured all of the three points.
Spurs had every reason to feel confident ahead of the meeting with West Ham on Saturday in another London derby.
But the Hammers turned out to be a very tough nut to crack in a very frustrating affair at the new stadium.
Spurs went on to lose for the first time at their new home and Graham Roberts concluded that the ‘side looks very tired today not a good performance!’.
