Former Tottenham Hotspur defender Kyle Walker had responded to Gary Neville recent claim that Harry Kane is the only ‘world-class’ in the England squad for the World Cup.
The Sky Sports pundit made a strong statement about the quality of the English national team, claiming that only Tottenham striker Harry Kane can be considered a truly world class player from the squad.
Those comments did not sit too well with former Spurs right-back Kyle Walker, who believes that Kane cannot be singled out as the only player with enough talent from the Three Lions’ squad.
“Harry Kane can’t win the game alone.” said Walker
“I disagree massively [with what Neville said]. We’re all here on merit, on club form. We’ve shown fine form throughout the season.
“He’s entitled to his opinion and I look up to him a lot, but for him to say there’s only one world-class player in the England team is a little bit harsh om the rest of us.
“There’s a lot of talent and exciting talent in that dressing room.”
Walker is an idiot.
Neville is correct in saying that England only have one world class player. The rest of the players are decent, but average.
Aurier is even more stupid. Why can’t we just buy a right back with brains? Trippier is doing okay, but we need another.
