Tottenham midfielder Nonso Madueke is on the verge of completing a transfer switch to PSV Eindhoven, based on a report by Eindhovens Dagblad.
The Dutch outlet is reporting that last season’s Eredevisie champions are close to reaching an agreement over a move for the youngster, whose contract at Tottenham will be expiring in June.
A medical for Nonso Madueke has reportedly been booked and the midfielder is expected to arrive in Holland later this week before signing a three-year deal with the Dutch giants.
The 16-year-old was invited for a PSV visit at the beginning of the year which most likely influenced the club’s decision to pursue his signature.
Reports from a couple of months ago also claimed that Madueke turned down the offer of a new deal at Tottenham as he was considering a move to a new club.
One of Tottenham’s most notable assets over the past decade has been the club’s ability to bring out some of the game’s brightest talents through its youth thanks.
Therefore, one would hope this Madueke move does not become a regrettable one in the near future.
