Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola have raved about Tottenham Hotspur’s talisman ahead of the big Champions League clash between the two sides on Tuesday night.
City saw off Schalke in the round of 16 of the competition while Tottenham thrashed Borussia Dortmund to progress to the next round.
In a rare all-English affair, the two clubs from the Premier League have been paired against each other with a place in the semi-finals of the competition now at stake.
Guardiola’s side will be deemed as the favourites to win the tie, due to how they have been faring in the Premier League this season as they remain on course to pip Liverpool to the title.
Apart from that, Spurs’ recent record against the Blues has not been the best, especially at the Etihad stadium where City have proven to be very dominant.
Nonetheless, Guardiola is bound to be fearful of Spurs striker Harry Kane, whom he has labelled as an ‘incredible striker’ ahead of the tie.
“It’s an incredible team, Harry Kane who can deny is an incredible striker and he has everything. He is a modern striker but not just him, we know and we knew it then.” he said, as quoted by Manchester Evening News
