Heading into the summer transfer window which recently ended, there was a lot of uncertainty surrounding the future of several key men at the club.
Daniel Levy did well to secure a couple of signings before convincing his most prized assets to remain for another year at least at Spurs.
Towards the end of last season, even with the club reaching the final of the Champions League, Mauricio Pochettino made no secret of the fact that a departure from the club was still on his mind.
The Argentine tactician has achieved a lot at Spurs ever since he took over as manager half a decade ago, and his exit would be a major blow.
However, former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O’Hara believes the departure of Pochettino is actually a real possibility after the team’s erratic start to the new season.
According to O’Hara, the Spurs boss is even unlikely to stay at the club for the remainder of this campaign by the looks of things.
“I think he [Pochettino] could walk,” O’Hara told talkSPORT. “I don’t think he’ll last the season.
“I think the way he’s being in his interviews and the whole situation going on behind the scenes there, I don’t think he’s happy.”
