Football.London journalist Alasdair Gold has claimed how much Tottenham Hotspur are willing to invest in the transfer market this summer.
After doing well to reach the final of the Champions League last season, Tottenham will look to go even further and win some silverware next term.
Achieving that target would require the club to spend more money than they have done in previous transfer windows in recent years, as the squad appears to be down to bare bones at the moment.
Spurs have not spent any money over the past two transfer windows, but could be in line for a splurge this summer, with rumours abound concerning a number of targets.
In a piece for Football.London, Gold acknowledged the clubs interest in Giovani Lo Celso, Ryan Sessegnon, and Tanguy Ndombele, but claimed that the spending may not stop there.
He said: “After two transfer windows without any new arrivals, the outlay, if Spurs can tie up all three deals, would likely be north of £150m and the club would not look to stop there with question marks over certain defenders’ future in north London.”
