Tottenham Hotspur seem to have shown an early interest in signing someone before things get too late in the summer transfer window which only opened a few days ago.
Mauricio Pochettino has sent out enough hints at this point about how much the club will have to back him in the transfer market if Spurs are to keep elevating to new levels season after season.
With the void of Mousa Dembele to take care of, it is imperative for the Tottenham boss to sign at least one new midfielder before next season begins as his side will look to finish in the top four of the league again.
L’Equipe claims that Spurs have made a provisional contract offer to Tanguy Ndombele, who has been in eye-catching form in the Ligue 1 this season.
The report is suggesting that the offer made to the 22-year-old is ‘more financially significant than anything they have offered anyone for quite some time.’
Ndombele might just be the right player to pursue, especially if Moussa Sissoko and Vincent Wanyama are expected to not have any spots in the starting eleven.
