Spurs hold talks over deal to offload Janssen

Tottenham Hotspur are holding talks with Real Betis over a deal which would see the club offload out-of-favour striker Vincent Janssen, based on a report by Sky Sports.

The Dutchman completed a move to the Premier League side for £17 million back in the summer of 2016.

But Janssen has failed to make a name in North London, prompting the club to send him out on loan for a couple of seasons.

Spurs were rumoured to be desperate to sell the striker during last summer, but there was no suitable offer made for business to be done.

Sky Sports though, are suggesting that the club is holding talks with Real Betis over a deal to hand Janssen to the Spanish side.

Betis are reported to be only asking for a loan move for the striker but Tottenham are rather keen on selling him and the club is asking for a price of £15million to sell Janssen.
