Tottenham have emerged as the favourites to land the signing of Jack Grealish from Aston Villa as the club prepares to finally submit a bid for the playmaker, based on a report by The Sun.
The Championship side are in a financial crisis at the moment, which has forced them to sell their star men for profit, handing Spurs a golden opportunity to snap up a player whom they have been tracking for over a year now.
Birmingham Live recently claimed that Tottenham are the club who have shown the most interest in signing Grealish and a deal is expected to go through at some point during this summer transfer window.
Based on the Sun’s report, Spurs are still the front-runners to sign the midfielder with a bid of £20million set to be made.
Villa, however, are claimed to be asking for double the amount which Pochettino’s men are willing to offer.
