Tottenham have been given the greenlight to agree the signing of midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, based on reports.
Mauricio Pochettino has not been able to make any new additions yet in this transfer window, due to the club’s reluctance to spend with the new stadium’s cost still on the table.
Midfield is perhaps the main area where the Tottenham boss might need some spending and Brozovic has been identified as a transfer target as a result.
Reports from Italy are indicating that Inter Milan are looking to sell the Croatian midfielder to Spurs as they continue to raise money to help fund a swoop for Luka Modric.
The Italian side are asking for £44.4million in return for Brozovic, who featured for his country at the 2018 World Cup.
Pochettino has publicly maintained that he is unsure over whether the club will actually be able to make any new signings before the window closes by next week.
