Spurs have ‘reached agreement’ to sign £350,000-a-week star this summer

Danny Rose and Harry Kane have all publicly called on the club to make the necessary transfer moves this summer and with the players actually pushing for spending, you would expect things to be proactive this time from Daniel Levy.

Based on a report by Don Balon, Tottenham Hotspur have reached an ‘agreement between player and club’ which would allow Gareth Bale to complete a move away from Real Madrid and return to north London this summer.

The 28-year-old, who is earning £350,000-a-week in Spain, has been rumoured to be on the brink of leaving the Bernabeu after being left out of manager Zinedine Zidane’s plans for the last two seasons.

A return to England for Bale could be beneficial for both Tottenham and the forward who enjoyed his best years in the white shirt of Spurs.

On the back of a superb 2012/13 season at White Hart Lane, Gareth Bale agreed to join the Spanish giants during the summer of 2013 in a transfer which made him the most expensive player in the world at the time.

The Wales international has been troubled by injuries for much of his career at the Santiago Bernabeu even though he has still managed to make 187 appearances in all competitions since his move to Spain.
