According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham are looking at the possibility of signing Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic in the summer to provide back up to Harry Kane. The Serb will reportedly seek to leave Fulham if the Lilywhites are relegated at the end of the season.
Scott Parker’s side will go down at the end of the season barring an absolute miracle as they are currently 19th in the league, 13 points off of safety.
Mauricio Pochhetino will have the difficult job of convincing the striker to be content with being the second choice at the club with Kane being Spurs’ undisputed number one.
Mitrovic joined Fulham from Newcastle United in the summer for a reported £22 million but the report says that the Cottagers will demand £40 million for the Serb.
However, Spurs will try to bring the price down and will hope that player power will be victorious again in a transfer battle.
