A selected group of players from the Tottenham first team squad are expected to follow the footsteps of Maurico Pochettino by deciding to sign new contracts this summer.
The club confirmed on Thursday that Pochettino had agreed to sign a new five-year deal which has finally brought an end to frustrating rumours about him joining Spanish giants Real Madrid in the summer.
Based on a report by the London Evening Standard, Tottenham are expected to hand new deals to the likes of Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen, Hugo Lloris, Jan Vertonghen and Heung-min Son.
Ever since the season ended almost two weeks ago, Daniel Levy and company have been working hard on committing several players to new contracts with the likes of Davinson Sanchez and Harry Winks extending their deals before Pochettino did this week.
The new contracts for those six star players are reportedly being prioritised to be completed before the move to the new stadium.
Pochettino is also expected to be handed around £100million to invest in the transfer market this summer with a number of surplus players expected to be sold in return.
