Tottenham are close to a deal which will see Vincent Janssen leave the club for Fenerbahce for another season, based on new reports on Wednesday.
The Dutchman was deemed surplus to requirements last season as he headed to the Turkish side for more playing time.
However, Janssen’s time in the Super Lig was disrupted by injuries and he ended up scoring less than ten goals, even though he managed to score on his debut.
Despite his underwhelming spell in Turkey, Fenerbahce have decided to come back for his services as reports from Turkey suggest a deal is near.
Tottenham and the Turkish giants, who have been in talks this week, have reportedly reached an agreement over another loan deal for Janssen.
It appears as though Spurs have failed to convince Fenerbahce over buying the striker permanently as the club looks to recover the £17m which was spent on him back in 2016.
