Tottenham ‘have made approach’ to sign £60,000-a-week goalscorer

Tottenham are in the battle to sign Danny Ings from Liverpool this summer, based on reports this week.

Mauricio Pochettino is likely to seek more depth in his squad ahead of another campaign in the Champions League, after last season’s third place finish in the Premier League.

Ings, having suffered serious injury problems during his brief career at Anfield, is now eager to leave and find a new opportunity elsewhere.

Therefore, Tottenham are very much interested in signing the 25-year-old this summer, according to reports.

Spurs are even claimed to have ‘made an approach’ for the forward who played his best football during his time at Burnley.

Ings, an earner of £60,000-a-week wages, is also being chased by other clubs around Europe.

The likes of Crystal Palace and Inter Milan are also believed to have expressed their interest in signing the Englishman from Liverpool ahead of next season.
