Mauricio Pochettino is claimed to be interested in making a move to sign Franck Kessie from AC Milan, based on reports from Italy this week.
Spurs are currently on course to secure a top four finish in the Premier League this season as they sit only six points behind league leaders Liverpool.
Pochettino appeared to have recognized the midfield as an area where he might need to strengthen if the team is to continue to challenge for major honours.
Reports from Italy are therefore claiming that Tottenham are keen on signing Franck Kessie from AC Milan.
The 22-year-old is suggested to be considering a departure from the San Siro if Milan fail to secure a return to the Champions League.
Chelsea are also claimed to be in the battle to sign Kessie, who would add energy to Pochettino’s midfield.
The price being quoted is £36m which would be affordable for Daniel Levy’s side.
