Tottenham have submitted a bid to lure the services of Justin Kluivert from Ajax, based on reports by Corriere dello Sport.
The 19-year-old has developed into one of European football’s hottest prospects over the last couple of seasons and he has not struggled to attract offers from other clubs.
The Italian outlet is claiming that Spurs have submitted an offer of £21.8million for Kluivert in attempt to sign him this summer.
Mauricio Pochettino is facing competition from AS Roma who have also tabled a bid for the bright teenager.
Spurs have reportedly been tracking Kluivert’s performances at Ajax for a while but his price tag could be the main concern for Daniel Levy, if the Dutch side turns down the latest bid.
The young attacker made 36 appearances for Ajax across all competitions during the season which just ended, scoring eleven goals and providing five assists for his team-mates.
