‘Expecting it to happen’: Pitt-Brooke claims Spurs will agree deal to sell player

Journalist Jack Pitt-Brooke has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur will be approving at least one first team sale in the transfer window which has just opened.

Daniel Levy has maintained a tight budget for Mauricio Pochettino to work with over the past three to four years, and that has seen the club fail to sign any players over the last two transfer windows.

Before Spurs are table o sign any new players though, Pochettino is likely to approve the departure of some players who have simply not been good enough over the past campaign.

That is exactly what journalist Jack Pitt-Brooke is reporting. It will be a ‘sell-to-buy’ summer at the club and one of the initial moves will be to ditch Kieran Trippier.

The 28-year-old has barely been at his best over the past 12 months and therefore selling him to a club outside of the Premier League is a reasonable decision.

Pitt-Brooke is claiming that a deal to sell Trippier to Napoli this summer is expected to happen.
