Former Tottenham Hotspur star Jermaine Jenas has picked out two central midfielders whom he would like to see his old club make a move for this summer.
Club chief Daniel Levy was not able to make any new signings during last summer, but Tottenham are expected to be more active this time.
After the Champions League final, Spurs will have a couple of months to show enough ambition in the transfer market, perhaps in order to convince Mauricio Pochettino that it is worth remaining in north London for a few more years at least.
The Tottenham boss has been linked with a move for a host of midfielders, especially after the exit of Belgium star Mousa Dembele during the summer transfer window.
And according to former Spurs midfielder Jermaine Jenas, there are two Premier League players in that area of the pitch that Pochettino and the club should be chasing.
“I can see Leicester getting attacked at some point this year. Ndidi has had a good season. In line with Doucoure at Watford. These are the midfielders that Spurs, United could do with.” Jenas told BT Sport
