Tottenham Hotspur appear to have suddenly turned the screw in the transfer window with a couple of new signings now expected to be completed as the month of June nears an end.
With a deal for Tanguy Ndombele already agreed (Sky Sports), Spurs have set their sights on another new acquisition to bolster Mauricio Pochettino’s squad.
And the next man to move to the club after the transfer of the Frenchman is completed is expected to be Leeds winger Jack Clarke.
The young attacker has already been claimed (Guardian) to be the subject of an £11.5m agreement between Tottenham and Leeds with the transfer on course to be finalized.
In addition to that, reputable journalist Phil Hay has revealed that the 18-year-old was in London for a medical at the club yesterday.
In fact, Hay has given some details on the sort of deal which Spurs have agreed with the Championship club and it appears to be quite a bargain, considering Clarke’s potential.
