Pochettino reveals why he is worried about this Tottenham player

With several important matches to come, Mauricio Pochettino has admitted ahead of the Manchester City clash that the situation of Harry Winks has become a concern.

The young midfielder, who has only featured in three games this year, has been troubled by an ankle injury for quite some time.

Earlier this week, rumours suggested that Winks was now in Qatar to resume his road to recovery, having received an injection which is meant to reduce inflammation in his joint.

And with the youngster yet to make his return to action, Pochettino has revealed that the condition of Winks has definitely become a concern.

“Yes, I think yes,” Pochettino responded when asked if it’s becoming a worry.

“He’s in Qatar doing his rehab. We’ll see what happens. We hope after that period he can come back fixing his problem and try to again stay in the group training.

“But of course we are a little bit concerned about his situation and we’re trying to fix his problem.

“We need to wait now to assess him and we need the news from there, but always with the hope that all is going to be good.”
