Tottenham Hotspur have earned a substantial amount of profit for their exploits across all competitions this term with the season having one more big game left.
Spurs have been living on a very tight budget in recent years due to the club’s project of building a new stadium which was finally opened towards the end of the campaign.
But there may now be some funds for Mauricio Pochettino to potentially spend in the transfer market after the news of increased profits for the club.
Based on a report by Football Insider, Tottenham have secured a £230.2million windfall from their accomplishments in the Premier League and the Champions League so far this season.
The club will be handed £142.3million of TV money after finishing in fourth place in the Premier League and as a minimum reward for reaching the final of the Champions League, Spurs will be handed an initial £87.9million, regardless of what happens in Madrid against Liverpool.
Fans of the club will now be hoping the funds are invested wisely by Daniel Levy and company.
