Sky Sports News reporter Rob Dorsett is claiming that Tottenham Hotspur are in talks over signing Youri Tielemans from AS Monaco.
Mauricio Pochettino paved the way for Moussa Dembele to leave the club earlier in the transfer window and therefore there is now space in the squad to be filled by another midfielder.
Even though the club refused to do any business for new signings during last summer, the fact that things are looking a little uncomfortable in the absence Harry Kane could change Daniel Levy’s stance.
Youri Tielemans is currently on the books of AS Monaco, a team who are struggling to survive relegation from Ligue 1 this season, having sacked their manager Thierry Henry recently.
Sky’s Rob Dorsett insists that the club has moved into negotiations over a deal to sign to the 21-year-old.

Tielemans is definitely a player being watched by many of Europe’s big clubs after being included in the Belgium squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
