Tottenham Hotspur are once again believed to be searching for a new midfielder, to fill the void left by Mousa Dembele, who left in the January transfer window.
The departure of the Belgium international has clearly left a hole in the midfield area of Mauricio Pochettino’s squad and Tanguy Ndombele has emerged as a target for Spurs as a result.
The 22-year-old possesses the energy to fit into the Tottenham team in a box-to-box role, and he has been linked with a north London switch since last summer.
There have even been reports claiming that the midfielder has been the subject of a transfer approach from Tottenham, courtesy of Sky Sports.
It currently appears as though Ndombele could complete a move to Spurs if all goes well, and Sky Sports reporter, Lyall Thomas, has estimated when the player could make the decision to leave Lyon.
According to Thomas, the Frenchman is expected to decide on his future when he returns from his holiday next month.
Further to this, I understand the player will take time on holiday to think over his future before looking to make a decision on his return in July. No agreement between the clubs yet #OL #THFC

Tottenham are yet to sign a player for the first team squad, since Lucas Moura joined the club from PSG in January 2018.
