Tottenham have become the favourites to land the signing of Anthony Martial from Manchester United this summer, based on the word from bookies.
The striker’s potential move to Spurs has been one of the talks of the transfer window thus far and his future may well be outside Old Trafford.
The Frenchman’s agent recently told reporters that his client was seeking a move away from United even though his club has maintained that a deal to sell the striker will not be allowed.
Football London are claiming nonetheless that the bookmakers at Sky Bet have deemed Spurs as the favourites to agree a deal with United for Martial.
In fact, Sky Bet have made the Lilywhites 2/1 favourites to sign the 22-year-old, down from 9/4 odds.
Martial, who moved to England in a £36million transfer deal back in 2015, is not short of suitors with Serie A champions Juventus also keen on making a move for the striker.
