Spurs could agree transfer for £18.6m star after suitors’ renewed approach

Fenerbahce are keen on re-signing Vincent Janssen from Tottenham on another loan transfer, based on reports.

The Dutchman was deemed surplus to requirements last season as he headed to the Turkish side for more playing time.

However, Janssen’s time in the Super Lig was disrupted by injuries and he ended up scoring less than ten goals, even though he managed to score on his debut.

Despite his underwhelming spell in Turkey, a report by Football London claims Fenerbahce are looking to agree another loan deal with Spurs for a cheaper fee than the €5million they had to pay last year.

Janssen, who joined the club from AZ Alkmaar for £18.6m in 2016, is believed to be keen on remaining at Tottenham and taking part in the club’s upcoming pre-season fixtures.

However, with Spurs heading into an important season as Pochettino continues to be linked with a host of new attacking players, Janssen’s move to Fenerbahce could be agreed this summer.
