Tottenham Hotspur has been deemed to be the ‘most likely’ destination for Gareth Bale this summer, based on a claim by Football Whispers.
Bale’s lack of regular action at the Santiago Bernabeu for the past two to three campaigns has witnessed rumours suggest that he is eying a return to England.
And even though Tottenham’s chase of the Welshman appeared to have gone dead, reports from a few weeks ago claimed the 28-year-old is pushing for a move to Spurs instead of Manchester United.
And now based on Football Whispers’ gathering of information, the 28-year-old is likely to complete a move back to north London this summer.
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is said to be looking to sell Bale, who has been given a couple of months of rest due to Wales’ failure to qualify for the World Cup.
The prolific forward, an earner of £350,000-a-week wages, stated after the Champions League final that he would be sitting down with his agent to make a decision over his future at Madrid very soon.
