Tottenham are ‘expected to agree’ a professional deal for talented forward Reo Griffiths, based on a report by the Evening Standard.
Griffiths has previously been rumoured to be on his way to Germany’s Bundesliga, however, he looks to have decided to remain at Tottenham in order to continue his pursuit of a place in the first team squad.
The 17-year-old is worried about how he can make it into Tottenham’s first-team, but he is reportedly poised to agree a professional contract with the club.
Griffiths has been a star for the club’s youth side after moving to Tottenham from Leyton Orient.
The young goal-scorer managed to score a total of 27 goals in the U-18 Premier League during the 2017/18 campaign as well as making three appearances for the reserve side.
Harry Kane’s rise has served as a big inspiration for many young players in our youth system and Griffiths has the potential to make a similar sort of progress.
