Four key players could miss Tottenham’s derby clash on Saturday

Tottenham Hotspur host Arsenal on Saturday in the North London derby and Mauricio Pochettino’s side could be without 4 key players.

Speaking to the press ahead of the game at Wembley, Pochettino revealed that both Eric Dier and Dele Alli are ruled out of the derby on Saturday.

Dier, having missed the last 3 games, is yet to recover from illness and isn’t likely to be fit for the weekend.

Alli has been out of action since suffering a thigh injury against Watford in the end of December.

The 22-year old had a slim chance of being available for the derby but has failed to recover in time.

Jan Vertonghen and Harry Winks are also a major doubt for Spurs with the duo set have a late fitness test as the duo face the race against time to recover from hip injuries.

A loss in the derby would close the back between the North London rivals to just a point and with away trips to Liverpool and Manchester City yet to come, Spurs cannot afford to drop points at Wembley on Saturday.
