Tottenham Hotspur’s hopes of getting the right result in Wednesday’s clash with Dortmund has been boosted by the news that the German side will be missing four key players.
Spurs will be looking to continue their winning run after seeing off Leicester City with a 3-1 win on Sunday.
Like the Foxes, Borussia Dortmund will also travel to Wembley on Wednesday in what promises to be a mouth-watering affair.
But in a blow for the Bundesliga side, Dortmund will be without four key players for the fixture.
It has been revealed that Marco Reus (muscle strain), Julian Weigl (illness), Paco Alcacer (shoulder injury) and Lukasz Piszczek (foot pain) will all miss the game in London.
The absence of Marco Reus in particular is a major encouragement for Spurs who are also struggling to have any first choice full-backs available for the clash.
Tottenham have met Dortmund on several occasions in European competitions and Wednesday will be another chapter in a growing rivalry between the two sides.
