Based on a report by Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing Inter Milan star Matias Vecino and Napoli’s Amadou Diawara in the summer transfer window.
Matias Vecino has been having quite an impressive season in Milan, prompting several clubs around Europe to chase his signature.
Due to the unresolved contract situation of star midfielder Christian Eriksen, Spurs have picked out Vecino as a potential replacement for the Denmark international, who has been on the radar of Real Madrid and Barcelona .
Amadou Diawara is another Italy-based player who is being pursued by Mauricio Pochettino, based on the report.
The 21-year-old has been one of the first names on the team sheet for Napoli for most games this season and the youngster is also being tracked by some of European football’s biggest clubs.
Tottenham are said to interested in the services of Diawara and Vecino, especially with a void to fill in midfield after the exit of Moussa Dembele two months ago.
