Tottenham midfielder remains coy about his future in London

One of the main stories in the British media over the last few days has been about the battle for the signature of Christian Eriksen.

European giants Real Madrid, Barcelona and more recently Juventus have all been linked with a move for the Denmark international with only a few months left before the summer transfer window opens.

Eriksen’s contract at White Hart Lane will expire in the summer of 2020 and Spurs’ attempts to extend his deal have proven to be unsuccessful so far.

That might leave Daniel Levy with no choice but to cash in on Eriksen this summer, especially with some of the world’s wealthiest clubs in pursuit of the midfielder.

Eriksen, who is currently on international duty, was asked about his future and the Denmark star refused to give away any details.

“I don’t want to talk about it. You write everything anyway, so there is no need to talk about it. I really just want to focus on the national team, when I am here.” he was quoted as saying by Ekstra Bladet.

Eriksen has already attracted criticism from some fans this season for his inconsistent performances and a decision over his future may well be made this summer.
