Tottenham push for signing of £26.3m attacker as Pochettino battles rivals

Eintracht Frankfurt attacker Ante Rebic has been identified as a transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur along with Manchester United and Arsenal, based on a report by the Sun.

Rebic was a key part of a Croatia team which surprisingly defeated the odds to make it all the way to the World Cup final where they faced France on Sunday.

The 24-year-old managed to rack up six goals and two assists in 25 appearances in the Bundesliga last season and according to reports, Spurs are to make a move to secure his signature.

Rebic still has three years left on his contract, but reports claim Frankfurt are willing to accept an offer of £26.3m to complete the sale.

The attacker might not be a proven name just yet, but his versatility is one of the traits which could convince Mauricio Pochettino to make a firm offer for his services.
