Tottenham want to agree £25m deal for goal-scorer as Levy seeks balance

Tottenham are willing to agree the sale of striker Vincent Janssen for a firm price of £25million this summer, based on reports in Turkey.

The Dutchman completed a transfer move to north London from AZ Alkmaar during the summer of 2016 for a fee in the region of £18 million.

Janssen went through a dissapointing debut season in the Premier League, scoring just six goals in all competitions – four of which were penalties, with only two coming in the league.

Fanatik, a Turkey-based outlet, is claiming that the 23-year-old is being chased by the likes of Bayer Leverkusen, Lazio, Sevilla and his former club AZ Alkmaar.

As a result, Tottenham are reportedly willing to agree a £25million deal in order to approve the sale of Janssen.

The striker was sent out on loan to Fenerbahce for the 2016/17 campaign, where he scored five goals in 17 games in an injury-plagued campaign.
