Two players ruled out of Tottenham game on Wednesday

Tottenham Hotspur will not be able to call upon two midfielders for the visit to Chelsea in the Premier League on Wednesday night.

Mauricio Pochettino will be expected to reshuffle his starting eleven on Wednesday in a bid to freshen up his team and tactics after the loss to Burnley on Saturday.

There was some hope over the duo potentially making their comebacks later this month but the likes of Dele Alli and Eric Dier will not be fit for the clash with Chelsea.

The duo will not travel with the squad for the trip to Stamford Bridge and Eric Dier’s absence in particular will possibly see Sissoko continue to keep a role in midfield.

As far as injury news are concerned, it is not all doom and gloom for Tottenham who now have Harry Kane back in the team.

Pochettino will be hoping Dele Alli will recover in time for the fixtures in March at least.
