Vertonghen and Lucas start: 4-2-1-3 Tottenham vs Dortmund predicted team

Tottenham Hostpur will probably face their toughest test yet this season when Borussia Dortmund visit Wembley stadium in the Champions League.

Sunday was a good day for Mauricio Pochettino as his side shrugged off a stubborn challenge from Leicester City to win 3-1 and maintain pace with fellow title contenders Manchester City and Liverpool at the top of the Premier League standings.

Much tougher than the battle against the Foxes though will be playing against a Borussia Dortmund team who have done so well this season that they have left serial champions Bayern Munich in second place in the Bundesliga table.

There is a serious injury crisis at left-back which means Danny Rose is expected to miss the game.

Pochettino will have to make his changes carefully and make sure the tactics are right because this Dortmund outfit are very quick and ruthless on the break.

Picking the right line-up will be the first step towards a good result in the first leg of this tie.
