‘We will see’: Dani Olmo finally breaks silence after Tottenham transfer talk

Tottenham Hotspur target Dani Olmo has broken his silence and spoken about speculation linking him with a move away from Dinamo Zagreb this summer.

Mauricio Pochettino has already succeeded in signing Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon but Christian Eriksen’s reluctance to commit himself to the club means another attacking midfielder might be needed before the transfer window is closed.

Therefore, Dani Olmo has emerged as a target for Spurs, who will be looking to go one step better next season after losing to Liverpool in the Champions League final last term.

According to a report by Mucho Deporte last week, Spurs have come to an agreement with Olmo’s representative Juanma Lopez, and are ‘close’ to completing a €25m deal for the attacking midfielder.

With his exit from Dinamo Zagreb yet to be sealed, the 21-year-old has been asked about his future. Olmo insists he will speak to his agent and then “we will see”.

“There’s talk about a lot of teams and many more rumours. I don’t know what is true and what isn’t.” the midfielder said, as quoted by the Mirror

“I’ve wanted to disconnect from everything and when I have the chance to speak with my agent, we’ll see.”

Even though Tottenham may be in a favourable position to land him, Olmo also added that he would noy rule out the possibility of him joining other clubs who are chasing him as well.

“I’m not ruling out any team. Out of respect to everyone who is interested in me, I’m not going to say anything. You have to respect them all.” he added
